Cameroon has a population of about 19Million in which 80% are French-speaking and 20% are English-speaking.The percentage of cameroonians less than 15years,65years and above 65yars are 46%,51% and 3% respectively.The birth rate is estimated at 4.2% and the death rate is estimated at 1.4%.The population growth rate is about 2.89%. Cameroon is one of the two bilingual countries in the world.Apart for English and French,there exist 24 other major languages.The Ethnic groups of Cameroon have the following percentages;Cameroon Highlanders 31%,Equatorial Bantu 19%,Kribi 11%,Fulani 10%,Northwestern Nantu 8%,Eastern Nigritic 7%,other Africans 13%,non Africans less than 1%.Cameroon has so many religions among which are indigenous beliefs 51%,Christians 33%,Muslim 16%.Cameroon has so many touristic sites among which are the Botanical Garden,the sea in Limbe and the Mount Fako;in the South West Province,the kribi area in the South Province,the Sultan’s Palace of the People of the Bamoums in Foumban;in the West Province and the Waza Park in the Far North Province
